Ranchi: Ranchi’s office from the Meteorology Department of India (IMD) on Tuesday afternoon predicted a sharp and sudden decline at night temperatures in Ranchi and throughout the Jharkhand in the next 48 hours.
Based on satellite images and radar data, the weather office was also concluded that the rain spells above the country now ended as a western disorder, which caused weather changes, had passed.
Data shows rain has dried up throughout the country with most parts that receive light rain in the last 24 hours.
Daltonganj received 5.6 mm rain until Tuesday morning, while Ranchi and Jamshedpur stayed dry until Tuesday night after recording a trail of rain last night.
However, the weather office, estimated wasolated rain in the Northeast District of the State (Giridih, Deoghar, Dhanbad, Jamtara, Dumka, Godda, Nail and Sahebanjj) on the day of the Republic and predicted dry weather and clear sky throughout the Jharkhand.
“Many places may have solid fog, while other parts will experience a shallow fog to moderately on the Republican day of the morning,” Abhishek Anand, scientists at IMD Ranchi, said.
Although the temperature of the night time remains higher than the average, IMD predicts a drop in mercury with two four degrees in the next two days.
Ranchi, which records 12.9 degrees Celsius on Monday, will experience a winter night refund because the level of mercury tends to fall into a one-digit sign on January 27.
However, it will also mean a gradual increase at daylight temperatures, which are currently five notches under normal in Ranchi (18.6 degrees C), Jamshedpur (21.6 degrees C) and Chaibasa (20.5 degrees C).
