PANAJI: In one of the hardest 24-hour spells in November in recent years, the Indian Meteorology Department (IMD), Panaji, recorded the average rainfall of 64.7mm, because the city received the highest quantum of 121.3mm and 120mm Pernem until Sunday morning .
Continuous drizzle from Saturday night until late at night giving heavy rainfall in many centers, making it a brushed mantra in November after 26.8mm recorded on November 17.
As an estimate by the previous IMD, Dabolim recorded a heavy rainfall of 85.2mm, 74.5mm MapaLa, Mormugao 73mm, Old Goa 66mm and other centers on a medium scale.
On Sunday, the overall surplus during the post-monsoon season jumped to 119%.
As many as 189mm normal at this stage but now it has touched 414.3mm with weekend rainfall.
Rain has caused a lot of damage to agricultural activities and sowing and planting plants has been delayed due to puddles and other problems.
