Mumbai: The Indian Meteorology Department (IMD) has been increased from the commemorating orange warning for red warnings on Wednesday in Mumbai.
The weather department estimates very heavy rain ‘in remote places in the maximum city during the day.
The weather bureau also sounded a red warning for Thane, Palghar and Raigad predicted very heavy rain in isolated places for Wednesday.
However, the orange warnings have been raised for Mumbai, Thane and Palghar for Thursday.

Meanwhile, KS Hosalikar scientists tweeted, “The Mumbai, Thane area and side by side recorded several intense rain spells in the last three hours with AMT rainfall exceeding 40+ mm in several places.
Radar, satellite observations confirm that intense spells can continue.

According to IMD Mumbai, the area of Thane and the next will see an increase in rainfall.
