Imessage reaction support comes to Google Messages

The Imessage reaction launches Android users.
According to online reports, this feature is available in a new beta for Google messages.
For those who don’t realize, iPhone users can add a reaction to the message.
This can be a heart, thumb, thumb down, laugh, question mark, or exciting.
However, these reactions appear as text when sent to Android users whose default message application is Google’s message.
The reaction can also be used in the message “green bubble” from Android users.
However, Android may not always interpret it correctly and can cause awkwardness.
For example, if the user sends the heart message from the iPhone, it is displayed in text to Android users as [People] “loved”.
According to the Droid-Life report, Google Message Beta users will now be able to receive emoji reactions because they are sent by iPhone users.
They will no longer see the annoying text “liked …”.
This feature was first seen in November 2021.
A report by 9To5Google then said the code that was visible on Google Beta messages suggested that Android users would be able to use reactions as emoji characters rather than text.
It can be noted that while iPhone users can react to messages received from Android phones, Android users cannot react to iMessage users.
This is because Apple’s messaging stand does not support Google RCS standards.
