Coimbatore: City Corporation has roamed two private companies to prepare detailed project reports to prepare a smart traffic management system.
This system will help monitor traffic movements directly from the monitoring center and quickly acting in congestion cases, said a corporate official.

Places that are susceptible to accidents will be identified and safety measures will be increased.
CCTV cameras will be installed at the crossroads and traffic flow will be monitored directly.

Precidi letters have been given to private companies to meet with stakeholders such as traffic police, private bus operator associations, Lorry and Private Operators,, transportation officials and airport and train representatives.
