New Delhi: The government is preparing to launch a portal that proposes to allow online application registration and tracking with safety prevention measures under “PM-Care for the Children’s Scheme.” The scheme is trying to provide long-term support to children who have lost their parents, parents who survive, law guardians or adoptive parents because of Covid-19 since the pandemic obtained momentum in March 2020.
The scheme is trying to support that approach Convergent, GAP funding to ensure education, monthly allowances at the age of 18 and the number of lump sum from Rs 10 Lakh at the age of 23 years.
The support plan under the scheme was launched by PM Narendra Modi on May 29.
This portal developed by the National Informatics Center will be managed by the Ministry of WCD.
This will allow applicants to register and access information with respect to updates on their application using a secure login procedure.
The portal shared with the state for testing is likely to be officially launched every day now, the source said.
According to the scheme, the Corpus Rs 10 Lakh in the form of a fixed deposit on behalf of the child will be made.
This corpus will be used to give them monthly allowances for five years when they are 18 years old.
