Ludhiana: The police ordered immigration agents and his wife after a suicide man in Khanna on Thursday.
Agent -Randhir Singh Goldy from the village of Rasoolra, near Khanna – has taken Rs 65,000 from Ravideep Singh, 27, from Bagli Kalan to send him abroad.
But in two years, he did not send Ravideep abroad or return his money, Ravideep’s family told the police.
The family said, “When Ravideep asked the agent to return the money and his passport, the last and his wife was harassed and insulted him.
Depressed, Ravideep went to a hotel in Khanna and consumed toxic substances.” Ravideep was taken to the hospital in Bija and then to another hospital In Patiala, where he exhaled his last breath on Thursday morning.
The body was handed over to the family after post-mortem.ravidep was three sons of Magghar Singh.
His brothers Hardeep Singh and Gurpeet Singh said the agent would first avoid Ravideep quoting Coronavirus.
“He then began to threaten to kill him after he asked for money and passport,” he added.
The police have ordered a partner under section 306 (suicide reduction) and 34 (actions carried out by several people with IPC.
Investigating Officer Sukhdev Singh said, “The attack was carried out at the defendant’s house, but they were not there.”
