Impact Covid: The company relies on the cloud solution

Chennai: Nearly 97% of Indian companies increase their dependence on cloud technology as a result of Covid-19 pandemics with companies accelerating the use of solutions such as software as services (SaaS) and platforms as services (PAAs), according to the latest survey by Manageengine, the company divisions Zoho Corporation.
This study was conducted with a total of 1,210 IT executives and global technology professionals, also expressed a significant increase in business analytic utilics and artificial intelligence (AI) over the past two years.
About 91% of respondents said their trust in AI had increased in the past two years, with the majority of them reported “significant improvement” in self-confidence.
The cloud adoption is mainly driven by the need to continue IT operations, supporting long-distance workers and carrying out data related tasks such as storage and reserves.
However, security problems remain high.
About 95% of Indian companies plan to remain with long-distance work for the next two years but at least 89% of respondents said implementing work-from-house policies have led to increased security challenges faced by their organizations.
“The risks caused by the shadow are mainly high, because 89% of companies do not have control of the software purchased and installed by employees on their devices,” the study said.
As a cyberthreals attack, especially phishing attacks, malware and social media, harmful remote employees, companies want to improve performance, reliability, and security from the cloud provider.
“Until around 2019, both private companies and the government were able to wait and supervise the cloud adoption, but it had not happened after the pandemic.

The Cloud Manageengine product grew 80% last year, and its security products grew at 40%, the company said.
BFSI, manufacturing, health care and public sector are the main adopters of management solutions since Covid struck.
