Thane: The Works On Skywalk Crucial Connecting Vitawa and Thane Station that runs parallel with the train tracks likely to begin soon after a new survey of the infrastructure project here by MMRDA officials, cabinet ministers and Mla Jitendra Awhad were informed on Thursday.
“Working on a delayed project that will benefit thousands of residents of Vitawa and Digha to reach the Thane Station will begin in the next four months.
There are certain aspects that delay the project that has now been deleted,” Awhad said when talking to the media after reviewing several projects Infrastructure in Kalwa, Suburban Mumbra City.
The 550-meter Skywalk is being built at the cost of Rs 21 Crores and will connect the Thane station with Vitawa in Kalwa.
The proposed skywalk, which was planned for years ago, will run parallel with the train track and above the Ulhas River.
Skywalk is planned to give alternative citizens who are faster and cheaper to reach the Thane station and also reduce accidents when they are currently walking along the trail.
Meanwhile, one of the arms over the third bridge ambiguous for the Kalwa Creek will be expanded to the land of Patni who will ensure there will be no traffic congestion in the Vitawa Subway.
Also, the parallel road that connects the point of entry into Kalwa beyond the Kalwa Group that connects Atmaram Patil Chowk near Kalwa Reti Bunder will also be built.
