New Delhi: The Chairman of the Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday met the former World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Dalip Singh Rana, known as ” The Great Khali ”.
Khali, according to an official release, during his meeting with the chairman of the Minister not only expressed his appreciation for the initiative taken in the national capital under the AAP government but also showed his willingness to support government efforts in the future.
He was accompanied by Delhi MLA Jarnail Singh.
“Today, I met a big Khali, a wrestler who had made India famous throughout the world.
He likes the work done on electricity, water and schools and hospitals in Delhi,” Kejriwal said on his Twitter handle.
According to government liberation, Khali, speaking with the minister’s chairman, drawing a comparison of Delhi development models with other countries and stating “how proud he felt he had seen such work happening in the national capital”.
“He was fascinated by developments that had happened in Delhi and said he was willing to support the government of the centrality in any way possible for the progress of the community,” he added.
The meeting took place before the Punjab poll set to take place next year.
