Islamabad: Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday launched the first national security policy in the country, which articulates a citizen centric framework, places economic security at essence unlike the previous one-dimensional security policy where the focus is on the military.

National security has been clearly explained in the original 100 original page documents, he said, adding that the policy articulated a citizen centric framework, placing economic security in essence and looking for safe and economically tough Pakistan.
Khan said that Pakistan, since the evolution, has had a one-dimensional security policy in which the focus is in the military.
“For the first time, the National Security Division has developed consensus documents that define national security in the right way,” he added.
A strong army, who has ruled Pakistan for more than half of 70 plus its existence, until now has great strength in terms of security and foreign policy.
The five-year policy document which covers the period between 2022-26, is supported by the Khan government as the country’s first strategy paper from its kind who describes the vision of security and national guidelines for the achievement of these goals.
“We need to realize that our biggest security is when people become stakeholders and defend the country.
And this can be achieved through inclusive growth.
We need to develop as a nation, not in the section,” Khan said.
Khan version.
From the policy it will still be classified.
The main theme of the national security policy is national cohesion, securing the future of the economy, defense and territorial integrity, internal security, foreign policy in the changing world and human security.
Previously, Joseph National Security Advisor said.
Pakistan, under the new policy, will shift to a comprehensive national security framework with the aim of ensuring safety, security, and dignity of Pakistanis.
“The policy places economic security at the core.
The stronger economy will create additional resources which will then be distributed to further improve military and human security,” he said.
In front of the foreign, the new policy highlights disinformation, hindutva, and the use of aggression for domestic political profits as the main threat from India, the Tribune Express newspaper reported.
The report, quoted Joseph, said the policy placed the problem of Jammu and Kashmir as the core of bilateral relations.
When asked about the message he sent to India, Yusuf said: “Tell India to do the right thing and jump on the bandwagon to benefit from regional connectivity to lift our society.
It also tells India, if you don’t want to do the right thing , it will be a loss for all regions, but most of the whole India.
“Earlier this week, an official said that Pakistan was willing to make peace with the closest neighbors, including India, under the new security policy that made the door open to trade with New Delhi even Without the solution to the Kashmir problem provided there was progress in bilateral talks.
Peace with close neighbors and economic diplomacy will be the main theme of Pakistan’s foreign policy in the new national security policy, the newspaper reported on Tuesday.
“We are not looking for hostility with India for the next 100 years.
This new policy is looking for peace with the nearest neighbor,” the official said with anonymous requirements.
If there is a dialogue and progress, there will be a possibility of normalizing trade and commercial.
Bond with India as happened in the past, the official added.
