Back in 2011, ‘Rockstar’ Imtiz Ali starred in Ranbir Kapoor and Nargis Fakhri, proved to be a blockbuster, because the romantic drama of music gathered positive views because fairy and reliable fairy tales, especially for young people.
A decade later, this film has reached cult status as the most loved one and talks about Imtiaz’s film.
When the film recorded 10 years today, Imtiaz Ali said that viewers and people had more films than he did.
In an interview with the news portal, the filmmaker shared that it was a great feeling when a film was being discussed and the character and the situation was being dissected even after ten years after being released.
He then added – that a film belonged to the viewers more than the maker.
“I know there are people who have more films than I do”.

When asked about what happened behind making the character of Ranbir Kapoor ‘Jordan’, Imtiia revealed that he (Ranbir) was not his first choice.
Explain further, he shared that he ‘began trying to make Rockstar even before Ranbir became an actor …
but when he met Ranbir, he revealed that’ Ranbir strangely knew the story of rockstar ‘in him.
Imtiazy also shared anecdotes from the days when the film was just released.
He remembered waiting for an elevator in a production house and there was a girl in who seemed crying.
Because he had to get into the same elevator, but looked at him he wasn’t so sure.
But then he looked at him and rudely asked him if I wanted to enter.
He shared as he walked to the elevator, the girl cried and said – ‘Don’t listen to anyone.
Rockstar is the most amazing film.
“He told me with wrath like that!” Imtiia believes that people have indeed taken films personally.
