Udaipur: In the first in India, the rare ‘pink’ leopard was recently seen in the Ranakpur area, in the hills of Aravalli Rajasthan Selatan.
Previous sightings of Leopard Pink were reported in South Africa in 2012 and 2019, reported Claude Dsouza.
Locals in Ranakpur and Kumbhalgarh claim to sometimes see large cats – have strawberry-colored coats – in various regions because the vast stretch of Leopard Pink forest area has explored, said Rajsamand DCF Fateh Rathore.
Recently it was caught on camera.
Zoology believes Strawberry Leopard is a cat species variant because of his body.
Conservators and photographers of Udaipur-based wildlife Hitesh Motwani claimed to have captured the leopard photo after a four-day search.
He said he was five to six.
