Udaipur: In the first in India, the rare ‘pink’ leopard was recently seen in the Ranakpur area, in the hills of Aravalli Rajasthan Selatan.
Previous sightings of Leopard Pink were reported in South Africa in 2012 and 2019, reported Claude Dsouza.
Locals in Ranakpur and Kumbhalgarh claim to sometimes see large cats – have strawberry-colored coats – in various regions because the vast stretch of Leopard Pink forest area has explored, said Rajsamand DCF Fateh Rathore.
