New Delhi: The center has set a target to complete at least 10 Public Lakh Grieves throughout the country in the next week to mark the celebration of the week of a good government ending on December 25, a commemoration of the former Prime Minister Bihari Vajpayee.
It will be more than three times the number of public complaints discarded by central government institutions during October when the government made a similar boost in the mission mode, a senior official said.
Junior Personnel Minister Jitendra Singh, who will launch a campaign on Monday, said all 760 districts will be registered on one portal.
The campaign will rise to the level of tea.
Singh said while only 2 Lakh complaints were recorded in the complaint system and monitoring of centralized public complaints, the online platform available for residents of 24×7 to file their complaints during 2014, the number increased to 25 lakh now.
