Gurgaon: City recorded four fresh Covid-19 cases on Thursday, the lowest tally since the beginning of last year’s pandemic.
Kaseload now stands at 1,80,685.
Before this, the lowest number of cases registered in a day was on June 19, when five people had tested positive.
The level of participation stands as 0.09%, the lowest, and falls from 0.1% Wednesday.
Active Kasel stood at 107.
On Thursday, two deaths were reported, taking Covid victims to 904.
The death rate was 0.4%.
That day also saw 15 people recovery, bringing the total recovery to 1,79,674.
The recovery rate is at 99.6% at this time.
A total of 91 patients were in a house isolation while 16 was in the hospital (a severe case).
“Even though the Covid case decreases, people should not be careless.
It has been observed that people do not follow the appropriate behavior of Covid, which can cause a new case increase,” said Dr.
Virender Yadav, Chief Medical Officer, Gurgaon.
He added that more than 4,000 tests were being carried out every day and the contact contacts were being carried out.
Meanwhile, 53 people were sent to institutional quarantine facilities on Thursday.
So far, 16,59,009 people have been put under supervision in the city.
In the last 24 hours, health authorities collected 4,192 samples for tests.
Until now, 16,46,423 samples were sent for testing, where 14,61,546 returned negative.
