Nagpur: Bulldhana, one of the worst battled districts of Vidarbha in terms of Covid-19, reported a new surge in the last four days.
Even though the number dropped eighth on Thursday against 20 Wednesday; District administration is alert.
Because 20+ cases twice in the last six days, the number of active cases (patients lacking treatment) increased to 74 in Buldhana on Thursday.
This is the highest number of patients lacking care for any district in Vidarbha.
Some other districts have also seen a slight increase in cases over the past four-five days.
The region reported 44 new cases on Thursday.
According to experts, this small surge is expected, especially two weeks after August 15 when most activities reopened in Vidarbha according to the ‘Break The Chain’ order.
Relaxation in the limit will definitely bring a small increase in new cases, but it is not serious except and to enter a large surge or surge, the experts said.
Vidarbha also reported 25 recovery on Thursday.
The recovery rate is still more than 98%.
This region has 311 patients in care.
The amount has reached above 300 after almost 10 days.
Because the number of recovery is less than new cases over the past few days, active cases have increased.
