Mumbai: Cheer Diwali seems to have been reflected in the renewal of Covid the State because Maharashtra registered the current one-day calculation with 661 cases on Saturday.
The last time the country had a lower calculation (583) on April 30, 2020.
In Mumbai, the daily calculation fell to the lowest this year with 176 cases on Saturday.
On August 15, the city fell to 195 but rose to more than 600-pluses in the next month because of the limitation of the road loose.
On April 1, 2020, when the pandemic was almost a month old in the country, the city had recorded 151 cases.
On Saturday, 10 deaths were registered in Maharashtra, including four in Mumbai, two in Pune, three in Kolhapur and one in Aurangabad.
“One reason for the low calculation is a decrease in daily testing,” said the State Supervision Officer Dr.
Pradeep calmed.
“Because Diwali, people don’t want to be tested.
In the last two days, our testing has dropped under one lakh,” he added.
The state is usually carried out between 1.2 lakh and 1.5 lakh test a day.
In Mumbai too, only 25,431 tests were carried out on 35,000 every day.
“Our daily daily position is below 0.7% on Saturday.
There has been no sharp rise in cases despite many socialization and crowding during the festival,” said the additional Commissioner BMC Suresh Kakani.
However, he said the BMC public health system would not reduce his safeguards.
“The next two weeks are very important for Mumbai because the increase in socialization can lead to increased cases,” he said.
Health Minister Rajesh Tope has many occasions last month saying that Covid cases can rise a little after Diwali.
“Given the situation in Europe, where cases have increased sharply in recent weeks, we must be vigilant here too,” said Dr.
Weaving.
However, he said the genetic sequencing test carried out in the state for the past four months has not shown a new variant of concern.
