Lucknow / Bareilly: Labor Minister Uttar Pradesh Swami Prasad Maurya resigned from his position, sent ripples in the state of the poll on Tuesday.
Hours after Maurya stopped, claiming that around a dozen more BJP MLA would also stop, MLA parties from Banda, Brijesh Kumar Prajapati, three times Mla Roshanlal Verma representing the Election of Tilhar in Shahjahanpur and has won the election three times – in 2007 2012 and 2017 – and BILHAUR LEGISLATOR BHAGWATI SAGAR also resigned from the primary party membership.
Everything is expected to join SP.
There is also Buzz Vinay Shakya from Bidhuna assembly chair in Auraiya tender his resignation.
While Maurya, a prominent BSP face that crossed in 2017 and whose daughter Sanghmitra Maurya was MP BJP, did not reveal if she had resigned from BJP too, Chief SP Akhilesh Yadav tweeted from Maurya, said, “We welcome the leader of social justice and equality at SP.
” Sources close to Maurya, a MLA from Padrauna, said he was expected to officially join the SP this weekend.
The development, significantly, came on the day when the top BJP brass met in New Delhi to complete the names of party candidates for the upcoming state polls.
Maurya’s damage to the SP camp has the potential to lend a shot on the Akhilesh Yadav arm, which has positioned itself as the most powerful rival from the BJP in the election of the upcoming country, and helps its efforts to weaken the perceptions of SP basically Yadav-Muslim companies.
Maurya, Prajapati and Verma are included in the non-Yadav OBC category which are politically significantly significantly – a big factor in the BJP spectacular victory in the latest assembly polls and 2014 and 2019 LS contests.
Sagar is Dalit, which starts from Maurya, which starts its political journey with BSP and became MLA three times and a minister twice.
He left BSP before the 2017 poll and was contested from BIHAUR with BJP tickets.
In his resignation sent to Governor Anandiben Patel, Maurya stressed the state government of the state “dirty negligence” against Dalit, classes of backwards, farmers, young men and small investors and gave reasons behind their decisions.
Prajapati, in his resignation letter sent to the National President of the BJP JP Nadda, also flattened the same charge, saying that the Apathy of the Yogi government against the clasps retreated, Dalit, Muslims and small traders had forced him to make decisions.
Prajapati, herself of the sub-caste Potter in the MBC block, said that she stood in solidarity with Maurya which was a “oppressed voice”.
This development also sets speculation of rotating mills about several BJP MLA more related to SP leadership.
This also includes Tilhar Mla Roshan Lal Verma who took Maurya’s resignation to Raj Bhawan.
Banking for the issues of farmers and assisted by turmeric waves, Verma has defeated Jitin Prasada of 5,700 votes from the Tilhar Constituency in 2017.
Prasada’s defeat, who was in Congress later and fought the SP Congress alliance, was a surprise for everyone because it was His first defeat was in every election in the Shahjahanpur house district.
In 2021, Prasada joined BJP and was promoted as Minister of Technical Education up.
The turn of the pressure to the Saffron camp seems to have played a role in Verma’s decision and he called it.
“I have resigned from BJP and will fight with SP tickets.
The decision was not taken in a day because I had joined BJP to serve the poor, but the Safron party had ignored farmers, Dalit and they were from the backward class.
It never hesitant- hesitate to exploit the poor.
When I was with BJP, I took this problem with Yogi Adityanath a lot of time, but it was always ignored as the influential party leader from Shahjahanpur which understated this problem.
“While the BJP leaders refused to comment on the resignation of Verma, President The SP district for Shahjahanpur, Tanveer Khan, told Tii, “Roshanlal Verma is connected with the roots and leaders such as it is always accepted at the party.
Our main goal is to lift the poor and overcome their problems and make their lives better.
Ticket distribution decisions will be taken by party leadership and tickets expected announced on January 12.
