Jaipur: Three Ministers Rajasthan has written to the Congress of President Sonia Gandhi, offering to quit their posts and work for the party, ahead of the expected cabinet rejig in the state.
Those who have offered to stop are Revenue Minister Harish Chaudhary, Medical and Health Minister Dr.
Raghu Sharma and Minister of Education Govind Singh Dotasra, Secretary General of the Congress Ajay Maken told reporters in Jaipur.
“I am pleased to tell you that the three ministers who promised the Rajasthan cabinet we had written to Sonia Gandhi today, offered to resign as ministers.
They also expressed the desire to work for the party,” said Maken.
Maken said, “The Congress Party respects them.
We are happy that there are promising people who want to work for a party.” Dotasra at this time was the President of the State Congress while Sharma was recently appointed by the party as a charges for Gujarat and Harish Chaudhary as countermeasures for Punjab.
Two days ago, the Chairman of the Ashok Minister Gehlot said that the cabinet restructuring would take place immediately.
At present, there are 21 members in the State Cabinet, including the Minister of Chief.
The amount of MLA in this country is 200, according to the cabinet can have a maximum of 30 members.
