In Gujarat, cellular customers cross 7 crore-marks

Ahmedabad: To fulfill the requirements of work and education that develop digitally, the more people throughout Gujarat choose several cellular connections.
According to the latest telecommunications subscription reports recently released by the Indian Telecommunication Supervisory Authority (Trai), the number of customers crossed the 7 Crore sign in June this year.
With a net addition of 2.78 lakh connections in June just, tele-density i.e.
The number of cellular customers per 100 populations has risen to 114 in Gujarat – the sixth highest in India.
In the case of Tele density, Gujarat was left behind Delhi (324), Himachal Pradesh (158), Punjab (140), Kerala (135) and Maharashtra (117).
Against a population of 6.1 crore people according to the 2011 census, the country’s cellular customers have clearly exceeded the total population, indicating that people use multiple connections.
Increasing the number of cellular customers is mainly associated with work from home, online class and resuming small and medium enterprises, according to the source of the telecommunications industry.
“Broadband connection requests have surged because of the higher bandwidth requirements for online education and to work from home.
However, the ease of service broadband connection is a problem because all telecommunication players expand their fiber optic network,” said the telecommunications industry source.

People have begun to choose several connections to ensure consistent connectivity.
In fact, many people have bought separate SIM cards that are only used by their children,” the source is further explained.
In June this year, Bharti Airtel received around 97,526 customers, Reliance Jio rose around 5.43 lakh customers.
On the other hand, vi lost around 2.37 lakh customers and state-owned telecommunications operators, BSNL lost 1.24 lakh customers.
Overall this pushes the total number of customers and above.
