In Gurgaon Greens, stir start fighting the developer

Gurgaon: Upset of indifferent attitude towards developers on their concerns, residents of Emaar Gurgaon Greens in Sector 102 began sit-in protests that were not limited to Monday.
They claim that the community faces several problems, including poor security, lack of horticulture and home maintenance, despite paying a decent fee at Rs 3.65 per square.
Some complaints have been carried out to related authorities, including in the CM window, in the past two years, but all requests have fallen on deaf ears, they accuse.
Residents said that they had no choice but to hold peaceful sitting protests to highlight their complaints.
They will sit in two shifts (morning and evening) for three hours every day.
“Builder has collected crores through electricity bills with a minimum name of monthly fees and general electricity costs.
At the time of ownership in 2019, we were forced to pay the maintenance costs of the public area in advance two years.
Now we pay a quarterly fee that is on the more side Height compared to other communities but they don’t even spend half of the amount of maintenance, “said Parikshit Yadav, a resident.
Representatives of developers are still not available for comments.
Residents accused the builder to form a condominium association nominated in August 2018, which has misused funds collected from residents as general maintenance and electricity costs.
They showed that there was no annual general meeting called by the Condominium Association and there were no financial audit reports distributed to the population.
“We are not aware of the condominium associations registered by developers because no members have ever seen by members in the community.
There are no GMS ever called,” said Sandeep Fogat, another resident said.
