In June, Drive Delhi-Jaipur in 3 hours

Sohna / New Delhi: Come on June next year, you will be able to travel endlessly from Dhuala Kuan to Jaipur in almost three hours to take Delhi-Guragon and Sohna-Mumbai Expressways.
The Indian National Highways Authority (NHAI) has set a March 31 deadline for the Sohna Highway, which takes off from Rajiv Chowk in Gurgaon, and Sohna-Dausa with a Delhi-Mumbai Expressway for a signal-free trip.
But the source said there might be time flooded several months.
Previously, Nhai had set November 2021 as a deadline, but this must be extended because of the second wave of Covid.
Minister of Transportation Jalan Nitin Gadkari on Thursday review projects and conduct air surveys in Haryana, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.
He directed NHAI to speed up the work and fulfill the deadline to bring assistance to commuters and cargo operators.
Delhi-Mumbai Expressway that lacks construction passes through Dausa, which is 60km from Jaipur.
NH-21 connects Dausa with Jaipur.
“The total distance of Dhaula Kuan to Jaipur through Sohna and Dausa is around 270 km and the distance is almost the same if someone travels with the NH-8 (highway Delhi-Jaipur at this time).
But because the toll road is intended only for high-speed vehicles and someone can Travel with a maximum speed of 120kmph, the travel time to Jaipur will decrease to three hours.
So, commuting can save more than an hour using a freeway, “said Nhai officials.
On Thursday, Gadkari drove a car, which conducted a test drive at 120km on the Mumbai toll road in a stretch of Ratlam.
“He examined the quality of riding,” said an official who accompanied ministers on the project review of two days.
Previously on that day, the minister reiterated that the Greenfield Expressway, which will eventually connect Flyway DND in Delhi with JNPT in Mumbai in 2023, will cut the travel time.
He said while cars can cover this stretch in 12-13 hours while for heavy vehicles, the total travel time will be 18-20 hours.
“Now a truck takes 48 hours to reach Mumbai from Delhi.
Just consider fuel savings and time that truck operators and goods operators will have because of the toll road,” Gadkari said.
The Minister said the Expressway would have a helipad for direct evacuation of victims of road accidents and also for the operation of the drone.
NHAI claims that this will be one of the fastest toll roads in the world.
“The 8-lane toll road can be expanded to 12 lines to meet the requirements in the future.
We have left enough space in the median, which can be used to put four more lanes,” said Nhai Manoj Kumar member.
The new freeway is expected to produce annual fuel savings of more than 320 million liters and reduce CO2 emissions by 850 million kg, according to NHAI.
