Ludhiana: The Union Minister for the construction of Iranian Smriti children and women targeted the Congress and its leader Rahul Gandhi when he campaigned for BJP in Ludhiana on Wednesday.
Iran swept the 1984 Delhi riots and described Rahul as “head of this Tukde-Tukde gang”.
“The Congress supports people who want to divide this country.
Like PM Modi said in parliament, Rahul Gandhi was the head of the Tukde-Tukde gang,” he said.
“The Congress failed to give justice to the victims of 1984 riots, but the Modi PM government not only accused the bar behind bars, but also released compensation worth RS 5 Lakh each to the victims who witnessed bloodshed,” he said.
Iran campaigned to support BJP candidates from Ludhiana West and also spoke in an interactive session on women’s empowerment.
“The Congress ruled the country for a long time, but what the Modi Government did in seven years was commendable,” he added.
He said the victims of the 1984 riots were waiting for justice for more than 30 years, but the congress gave the main position to those involved in violence.
The Union Minister said proceeding to target the Head of the Punjab Navjot Singh Sidhu Congress.
“The Congress made Sidhu as the president of the Punjab Congress even though he embraced the seasonal village head, who showed his ideology.
Now Sidhu the same did not get the support of the Congress to become a candidate for cm of punjab,” he said, adding the Gandhi family would decide who would be cm Punjab, but BJP will let people decide who will be cm punjab.
