Amritsar / Jalandhar / Bathinda: The school in Punjab witnessed a low presence on Monday when they opened back for class X students to class XII almost after four months.
The state government has made approval of mandatory parents for students to go to school.
The government has also provided options for students to choose online classes instead of attending school physically.
There was a thin presence in Amritsar schools, Taran District and Gurdaspur on the first day of school opening.
The majority of students have arrived together with their parents because of the meeting of parents of parents two days and returned with them.
“Today and tomorrow, my parents will accompany me to school to meet PT, but regular studies will begin the day after.
I hope the school will not close now,” said the class XII Harnek Singh.
District education officers, secondary, satulbrir Singh said he had visited several schools and found a calm enthusiasm between the two parents and students.
For reason management, the majority of private schools have not been opened.
A Mahal, Chairman, Great Indian Presidency School, said they would open school in a day or more.
Jalandhar Harinder Pal Singh District Education Officer said there were around 15% bridge students for off-line classes in 152 high school and 121 secondary schools in all districts.
The government school also organizes parents’ teachers to meet.
There are around 20% of voters in the government high school for girls, Nehru Garden Road.
Public Principal MGN K S Randhawa said their school had an election of around 43% of students.
At Sanskriti KMV school around 80% of class X and XI students appear for off-line classes.
Barnala Deo (secondary) Sarabjit Singh Toor and Deputy Deo Harkanwaljit Kaur said class X, XI and XII began in accordance with the standard operating procedures suggested by the Ministry of Health and a fair number of students attending classes.
According to SOP, there must be at least 6 feet of distance between students and schools it has been recommended to mark a chair that must be occupied by students.
To ensure that the right distance is maintained, only one student will be allowed to sit on the bench, while other protocols such as using cleaners and wearing masks will be strictly followed.
School management has been asked to ensure the right cleaning and sanitation facilities at school.
The settings must be made to clean and disinfect all areas, furniture, equipment, stationery, storage, water tanks, kitchens, canteens, bathrooms, libraries on the school campus.
Each school has been asked to ensure the availability of major inventories such as infrared digital thermometers, disinfectants and soap.
