Aurangabad: Thousands who draw air hire as the five poor sisters, instead of binding Rakhis on their warriors’ wrists on Raksha Bandhan, attending their cremation in the Bamni village in Nanded Maharashtra district on Sunday.
Sudhakar Shinde (45), Assistant Commander of Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), was killed in Maoist’s attack in the Narayanpur District Chhattisgarh on August 20.
He was cremated in the morning with a full state award.
Shinde’s son of six-year Kabir turned on Pyre as a family member and neighbor in Bamni crying.
Haribhau Waghmare, Collegemate Shinde said, “He is the oldest of seven siblings and plays a role in arranging marriage of all his sisters”.
Shinde took 13 bullets and died at the place when a small group of armed Maois opened fire on ITBP personnel forces during regional dominance training in Narayanpur.
He survived his wife, a four-year-old daughter, a six-year-old son, and elderly elderly.
