Thane: Increasing awareness among residents about Early Detection Covid and effective follow-up by patient citizenship staff with symptoms has shown results with cities that report a decline in the number of critical patients in the past month.
Government data shows that while 315 (30%) of 1,034 active patients require ventilator and oxygen support until mid-June, the same has now shrunk 8% to 225 (22%) of 1,011 active patients on July 11.
In addition, while 255 people need oxygen support until mid-June, now it has gone down to the 174th month.
On the other hand, those who supported the ventilator also saw a prominent decline from 60 to 51, which was encouraging, said citizenship officials added that sustainable efforts would show better results.
“Some citizens are now more aware and proactively filter themselves.
We are twisting around 3,500 people every day.
Also, early detection makes it much easier to overcome infection before being severe,” said Dr.
Vaijayanti Deogekar, medical medical officer in Thane Corporation , Civil officials say they have not let their guards go down and will intensify contact contacts and patient tracking.
