Patna: For the first time during the second wave of Covid-19, not one person from Bihar tested positive for the virus on Tuesday.
Even one new case registered on Tuesday was someone from Assam, who came to Bihar for medical care.
The Ministry of Health Special Secretary Sanjay Kumar Singh said, “One positive sample was the person who came for bone-related care and got his blood sample was tested in a private lab.
But no district has a positive case on Tuesday.” He appreciated the efforts of the Ministry of Health and credited Minister of Minister Nith Nith Kumar to test a large number of samples every day.
“Even with a very low level of participants, we are testing as many samples as possible and this helps identify people infected and control the spread of the virus,” he said.
Sanjay, however, advised people to follow the right Covid-19 behavior to have better results.
In accordance with the data distributed by the Ministry of Health on Tuesday, one positive case was reported to 14.41.85 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
In the same duration, five people have recovered and active cases down to 52 in the state.
Madhubani has a maximum of 16 active cases, followed by six on Patna.
As on Tuesday, 22 districts have zero active cases.
Tally Covid the country is 72.59.48.
However, 71.62.35 people have recovered and 9660 died of Covid-19 so far.
Meanwhile, 22.02.33 Covid-19 vaccine doses are managed throughout the state on Tuesday.
