New Delhi: For the first time, CBSE board exam candidates will get free access to their answer sheets.
CBSE will announce the exam results the Board of Term-1 is currently underway.
Around mid-January, the candidates will be able to access the answer sheet OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) scanned online and get to know their scores.
The Council is also working on alternative arrangements for candidates who have missed the 1st term exam because Covid.
The details are likely to be announced soon.
Until 2019, candidates who feel they have not been evaluated answer sheets properly allowed to get a photocopy through a two-step process, with costs.
If a candidate wants to apply for re-evaluation, it would involve three steps and payment of fees.
Starting this year, the CBSE will provide free access to the answer sheets were evaluated.

“After scanning the OMR answer sheet is completed, which will take about one month, they will be available for the candidates.
Candidates will be able to access with their credentials,” said a senior CBSE official.
“Currently, this facility is only for MCQ based test Term-1.
The candidates can assess their performance and in terms of complaints to their approach.
This is to make the exams more transparent,” the official said.
Some candidates could not appear for the exam first term because they covid infection.
Council contemplating a number of options for them, which, according to CBSE sources, including providing double sign in the term exams 2 or arrange an online exam diprodusikan.
“The decision on this is likely to be taken at the end of this month.
Of course, the interest of the candidates will be protected and if there are infected they should not come to the test,” the official said.
