Chandrapur: In his first step, Mahagenco has started transporting ash fly from the Super Thermal Power Station (CSTP) chandrapur to the distant destination with the help of a train cart.
The first carts were marked by the energy of Minster Nitin Raut during his visit here on Sunday.
Raut claims that similar transportation from Fly Ash will occur from the Thermal Power Generator and Khaparcheda after evaluating the results of the initiative taken on CSTP.
The minister praised the step and said it would increase the importance of ash and would improve the industry based on future flying ash.
About 4,200 metric tons (MT) Abu has been transported by train around 59 carriages so far.
He stated that large amounts of ash can be done by train at a time and very cost-effective.
He showed that while the ash 20-22mt could be transported at the help of Ash Transport Bulker, around 3,500-4,000 MT of Abu could be transported by train at one time, at a low cost.
It also reduces accidents and transportation problems caused by heavy transportation vehicles, he added.
Raut says that the average cost for bulker is RS7 per km per mt.
The cost of transporting ash by the train to the Ambuja Chandrapur factory, which is located about 60km from CSTPS is RS95 per MT, while the same cost as Bulker is RS300 per MT, he explained.
The look of claiming that ash can be transported by train to Mumbai, Pune and into distant places with the RMC cement industry and factory, where the price of ash is Rs1,800 per MT.
Mahagenco has signed an agreement with M / S Ashtech India Pvt Ltd for transportation fly ash by train.
CSTP produces 16,000 mt of wet and dry ash every day as waste.
The Ministry of Forest, Environment and Climate Change has determined the criteria for utilizing ash 100 percent.
Ash from Power Chandrapur Station is used to a certain extent in the cement industry and a small scale industry in this district.
However, because there is no large-scale ash industry around the Koradi and Khaparkheda power plants, their factory administration faces a big problem of drain ash there.
