“The foundation stone from the ICC project worth Rs 400 Crore, to be established in a public private partnership model, will be placed in September, and the government has set a target to resolve all paper work and RFP floating processes at the end of August,” said Commissioner Division Deepak Agrawal while Express progress made in this project to TOI on Saturday.
Commissioner together with division forest officers from the Social Forestry Division, Varanasi, Mahaveer Kaujalgi, camping in the office of the commissioner office in the morning to monitor the process of transplantation of large trees to empty the land where the ICC twin building will be built.

The Twin-Towers project will come on 3 hectares in the commercial office complex scattered at 6.44 hectares.
It will also have the first skywalk on the top floor of the twin building, he added.
Regarding tree transplants, DFO said, “A total of 73 adult trees have been identified for transplants.
The average age of this tree is 25 years.
Apart from Ficus, many other varieties include Sagaun, Amalhotel, Kachnar, Gulmohar and mango trees mostly shift to place central prison, where 12 trees have been transplanted in the past week.
Many trees are also moved at the commissioner’s premise.
“For transplantation, a company based in Delhi has been engaged, said DFO added, according to the contract, the company charged Rs 11,000 Transplant each tree.
“Half of this money is paid in advance while the remaining amount will be paid after one year of transplant tree maintenance and ensuring the survival.
With the transplant process, the department has also started a detailed study to take advantage of this method to save trees in future projects,” Add it.
About progress in the ICC project, Commissioner said the detailed project report was sent to the state government a week ago for approval.
The total estimation of project costs is around RS 400 Crore and the government will not spend money from its own silence because this project is based on the PPP model.
“After the government nod is accepted, the process of completing all paper work and floating RFC will be completed at the end of August,” Commissioner said.
For better coordination between different government offices related to the Division Commissioner and also to avoid discomfort for people from neighboring districts in the division, the ICC is subject to sanctions for the constituency of Parliament PM and Gorakhpur, Turf Home Minister of Youth Minister of Yogi, in the pilot project.
“The government’s order was accepted here in January,” he added, “Basic Exercise of the location of the location, tentative expenditure to build the ICC building and regulate the budget on the PPP model instead of depending on state funds, was followed.
It was followed by the appointment of a Nagpur-based company as Transactional Advisors for the project.
“One tower will accommodate 44 government offices while others will be truly commercial to generate revenue for project and maintenance.
Each tower will have a double floor basement parking facility.
At present, the office 12-13 department runs in their own buildings while others are operated in leasing accommodation where their care is also very bad.
Only regional sports offices will not come to the ICC because the RSO office can run from the stadium.
