In the first, SC Collegium suggested gay advocates for Delhi HC judges

New Delhi: First, the Supreme Court Collegium, after postponing a four-year decision, has recommended to the center to appoint a senior gay advocate openly Saurabh Kirpal, the former son of Cji B N Kirpal, as the Delhi High Court Judge.
Delhi HC Collegium has sent Kirpal’s name to appointments as HC Hakim to Collegium SC back on October 13, 2017.

He was appointed as chairman of Judge Gujarat in 1993.
Appointed as the Supreme Court Judge in 1995, he became CJI on May 6, 2002 before retiring on November 7, 2002.
