Patna: The State Government has planned to develop a monkey park near the village of Simraha in Arriar District, the original place of Phanishwar Nath Renu which is one of the most influential modern Hindi literature writers.
The first park will have a restaurant, swimming pool and running lane for visitors.
Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (EFCC), Neeraj Kumar Singh, told Journalists on Thursday, “With a view to checking the threat of monkeys in several urban areas, we have decided to provide natural habitat to them.
We will trap monkeys and Shift them from various regions to a new park.
“He added,” Monkey Park will attract tourists from various parts of India and Nepal.
” The EFCC department has decided to consult with environmental lovers, wildlife experts, and veterinarians to establish monkey parks.
“Lovers and wildlife researchers will be able to observe and study the pattern of monkey behavior easily,” Neeraj said, adding that artificial ponds would be created and shelters built in the first phase.
According to the source, the monkey park will appear on 10 hectares of land at the Van Renu which will be developed in Phanishwar’s memory.
Van Renu will also have a guesthouse, a resort, a children’s garden, and a library.
