In the high-risk celebration season, Covid testing in Punjab Plunges

Chandigarh: With a concern of the Covid-19 surge during the celebration season, health experts and the central government have emphasized testing of improvement, but the reverse scenario is proven in Punjab, where the average test of seven-day countries per million populations has dropped more than 31% since September.
Counts of new cases have fallen so they have a test rate in the state.
The weekly moving average test per million populations slipped below 1,000.
In accordance with the data of the State Health Department, the average seven-day testing number was recorded at 989 at 5 and 999 October on October 6, many under 1,454 tests carried out on September 1.
About 41% of the 22 districts have lower testing the average rather than the weekly moving average test of the country per million populations on October 6 at an average of seven countries from 999 tests per million populations, only 292 tests per million populations were carried out in Fazilka, 598 in Sangrur, 621 in Moga, 698 in Bathinda, 865 in Patiala, 890 in Barnala and 924 in Amritsar.
Punjab uses conventional and fast RT-PCR antigen test to detect viruses.
As a wave of the second infection it has not ended, the central government has asked the state government to ensure the compliance of the appropriate behavior of Covid during the three-month celebration season that began with Navratri in October 7.
The other main festivals fell in the next three months were Durga Puja, Dussehra, Diwali , Gurpurab and Christmas.
In communication on September 28, the Punjab government was asked to issue instructions for district authorities to take the necessary steps with a continuous focus on vaccination-track-track-track.

Rakesh Kumar Gupta, President of the Strategic Institute for Health Education and Research (Sipher) said that special efforts need to be included to ensure high testing numbers, especially during the celebration season, when there is a high collection of people.
“There is no room for weakness because we cannot say for sure that the pandemic ends,” he added.
Testers are targeted to increase testing for time detection and infected individual isolation during the celebration season, the Punjab government has decided to focus on targeted Covid testing.
Civil surgeons have been issued instructions to focus on fields where high transmission risks.

Rajesh Bhaskar said, “The Ministry of Health team will reach the market, mall, and other locations.” Van cellular testing will be pressed into service.
