In the middle of a covid pandemic, African pig fever made the foot in Tripura from Mizoram

He said that infectious diseases might spread to Kanchanpur North Tripura from a side by side Mizoram.
The official said that prevention and control of infectious and infectious diseases in the animal law, 2009 had been enforced in the subdivision of Kanchanpur and all preventive measures had been made.

Annual Pig Business of the Northeast Region is worth around RS 8,000-10,000 Crore, with Assam being the biggest supplier.
Pigs are one of the most common and popular meat consumed by tribes and non-tribes in the region.
According to some experts, humans were not infected by ASF, which was first detected in 1921 in Kenya.
However, they can become a carrier of the virus.
There are no vaccines available for viruses to date.
Outbreaks of various diseases, including ASF and legs and mouth among animals, most of the livestock, occur in various northeastern states almost every year.
After the outbreak, northeastern countries have stung high alert and asked people, especially small children owners, to refrain from carrying pigs and piglets from other states and neighboring countries, especially from Myanmar.
The central government advisor said that ASF was a very contagious disease of pigs – both domestic and wild and mortality may be as high as 100 percent.
“When the disease is common in China, and India has a long limit with China, Myanmar and Nepal, therefore, Indian countries that are bordered must remain vigilant in the movement of pigs and pig products in their territory.
