Greater Noida: District administration prepares for the next round of the acquisition of large-scale land in Gautam Budh Nagar.
From Monday, the senior official team will begin to complete their strategy to convince landowners from six villages in Jiwar to provide benefits to the expansion of the Noida International Airport.
Approval of at least 70% of a total of 7,875 people who will be influenced by the second phase of the project will be asked to continue the acquisition process, officials said.
However, villagers recently decided to oppose their approval for land acquisition for the second phase of the Noida Airport project as a social impact assessment report approved by the government not including many of their demands.
With farmers insist on their demands, officials said, securing approval of more than 5,500 individuals could be very challenging.
Karauli Bangar village residents, Vijendra Singh said, “We are all upset by the way the social impact assessment report has been evaluated by the state government.
Except for two, all other demands have been ignored by the government.
We will oppose the project.” Better compensation for land , securing the future of children and students, employment opportunities for those who become agricultural activities and milk business are some of the main demands.
The first camp arranged to be held in the village of Mundhera and Kariuli Bangs on January 7, six villages (Ranthera, Karauli Bangar, Kureb, Mundhera, Birampur, and Delayanatpur) will be influenced by the second phase of the project.
Residents of Ranthera, the largest village, have decided to register their protests.
On Saturday, Big Big and Mundhera farmers also organized Panchayat to wear a plan, while the residents of Kariauli Bangar Village will last on Sunday.
Farmers who will be affected in Kureb and Delayanatpur also tend to make decisions collectively in the next few days.
“We are not against the project.
But the rehabilitation of the affected farmers who have been moved due to the first phase (airport project) has been carried out, have left us all nervous.
We do not want verbal guarantees.
We want everything to be written,” said Warbash Resident Subhash Sharma .
Meanwhile, additional district judges (land acquisition), Balram Singh said, “We are completing a list of people who have to attend camps and show documents.
We cannot comment on any speculation and will wait for the results after holding the camp.” Register 1,987 Land Chunks, officials said, will be examined and the names of the owners are being prepared.
Land pieces will be collected for the second phase and submitted to Zurich AG subsidiaries to develop the second stage of the project of more than 1,365 hectares of land.
