Gurgaon: The State Education Department has proposed the class in two shifts at Sanskriti School, where registration has increased in the current academic session, so Covid norms are followed on campus.
According to the Ministry of Education, registration has increased by more than 28% in 137 Sanskriti Middle School models managed by the government and nearly 17% in 1,418 Sanskriti elementary school models.
“Registration in all schools has surged dramatically.
We have recorded nearly 37,000 new acceptances,” said a senior official with the Ministry of Education.
The department plans to run schools in total capacity from December 1.
However, infrastructure currently in schools cannot accommodate all children in the middle of the pandemic in the middle.

“While (increasing registration) is good news, it has brought challenges to accommodate many children along with Covid norms.
Practically impossible to expand physical infrastructure in a short time,” he added.
This department has now written to the secondary education center council about its proposition.
After receiving a response from the board, the department will allow school to move forward with classes in two shifts.
The department has also decided to release school fees for students from the BPL family.
