Bhubaneswar: In the midst of an opposition attack on governing BJD for alleged suicide Dusmanta watershed near the assembly on Wednesday, the Mangalabag police in Cuttack took an investigation of their colleagues in Kujanga on Friday.
The watershed was suspected of slitting his wrist and consumed poison near the Assembly as a protest against alleged government rejection freely for him under BSKY last year.
Police Kujanga in the Jagatsinghpur district on Thursday registered a murder case after the Das Mother alleged that an unknown man, who took his son to Bhubaneswar, may have killed him.
In his complaint, Basanti Das alleged that the unknown man might have cut his son’s wrist and forced him to consume toxins so that drastic steps would attract the government’s attention to his fate about BSKY.
Because the waterson gave up during treatment at SCB Medical College and the Hospital in Cuttack, Kujanga police referred this case to the Mangalabag police in the jurisdiction.
“Our investigation is ongoing.
Allegations that the deceased’s mother was being verified,” said Deputy Deputy Police Commissioner Prateek Singh.
BJP on Friday continues to attack the government for this issue and demand the CBI probe into a state of the death.
BJP said allegations of suicide exposed an ugly health care system from the state government.
“The government, who has been comprehensive to implement Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Aarogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) in Odisha, now stands after the rejection of treatment of the watershed under Swasthya Kalyan Yojana.
We demand compensation Rs 50 lakh until the next kin from the deceased, Government work for the wife and Probe CBI who died in his death, “said Senior BJP leader and Minister Manmohan Samal on Friday.
Manas Mangaraj, Secretary General of BJD (Urfairs Media) said those who were looking for CBI probes at risk of suicide had to respond to the accusation of the watershed mother who said he was killed.
“The police ordered this case.
Let the police know the people who carry the watershed (who cannot walk due to injury after his accident) to Bhubaneswar and the order of events that lead to his unprofitable death,” Mangaraj added.
