Noida / Ghaziabad: As part of the mega vaccination drive conducted on Monday, Ghaziabad was inoculating 42,079 people in 148 centers.
In Gautam Budh Nagar, 28,949 people got photos at 138 Stan.
Like the first mega drive earlier this month, the two districts saw the crowd and chaos in several vaccination centers, especially in urban areas.
For Ghaziabad, the target of the day was 40,000 and for Noida, it was 27,500 for government centers.
The booth inoculated 25,622 people (20,416 got the first dose and a dose of 5,206 seconds).
Others get JAB in private facilities.
“Every time there is a mega drive, we get hundreds of people.
But we don’t have a lot of doses.
Those who don’t work often complain and some even try to attack us.
Most sites have one doctor and some nurses, who cannot handle the crowd.
In a hurry, it is impossible to follow the Covid protocol, “said an official from the Gautam Budh Nagar Health Department, who manages a health center.
The center responsible at Ghaziabad said they had little time to prepare for travel and found the appropriate inoculation center was a challenge, especially in urban areas.
Asked about Mega Drive and Timelines plans, district immunization officers, Ghaziabad, Dr.
Neeraj Agarwal, said the center on charges of preparing a micro plan for their territory and they were responsible for driving.
Gautam District Judge Budh Nagar Suhas Ly said: “Drive is based on the availability of vaccine doses.” State officials claim the noida centers see the crowds because many people from Delhi also land there.
“Gautam Budh Nagar has vaccinated around 90% of its population which qualifies with the first dose and about 60% with the second dose.
However, most of the center is crowded.
This is because these centers serve several East Delhi residents and also people from Shalimar Bagh and neighboring areas, “said Dr.
Ajay Ghai, state immunization officer.
“Since on Friday, the focus is on routine immunization, and on Saturday, it is in the second dose administration, the district has a larger stock for traveling on Monday,” Ghai added.
For Monday, session sites in all five public health care centers in Noida were given at least 500 doses.
The smaller center is around 250 doses each.
In Ghaziabad, most shots were given at the urban primary health center (879) attended by centers in Kotgaon (752) and Ramleela Ground (746).
The district has 42,000 doses (30,000 covishiled and 12,000 covaxin) for Monday.
Tuesday, he has 11,000 doses.
