Howrah / Hooghly: After the flight permit was canceled due to bad weather, Chairman of the Minister of Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday took the road to Amta Howrah and naved flood water to reach the affected people.
Accompanied by Howrah District Hakim Mukta Arya and State Minister of State Polak Ray, Banerjee cut his trip to Udaynarayanpur when walking under water, down in the heavy rain on the bridge and hear the people there.
CM said: “This is a man-made flood.
The past two years, there is no big flood because there is coordination with the country.
But now there are new people (in DVC) and he does not heed our request.
DVC releases water on their wishes.
Until there is dustilation The right DVC dam, there will be floods in Arambagh, Khanakul, Goghat, Ghatal, Daspur, Udaynarayanpur and Amta.
“He added that he had spoken with PM about the release of DVC water which created a disaster in Bengal and urged Desi DVC Dam.
“Thousands of houses and agricultural fields have been severely damaged,” he said.
Banerjee told people who were flooded that the state tried to regulate adequate assistance material.
Parts of people have been shelter on the bridge once when their homes are flooded.
Talking to people, CM said the release of DVC from 2 lakh cusecs from the Pancel, Maithon and the tenukhat dam had caused severe flooding.
He added that after 2016, the state had faced flooding in 2017, 2019 and now in 2021 for the same reason.
Bengal, he indicates, will send to the report center about the assessment of flood damage.
Sixteen people have been killed in a flood and several lakh farmland are under water.
Previously, there was hope between flood attacks in Khanakul, but their expectations ran with a heavy bath which washed away the helipad while at Ground School GhoSpur.
Trinamool District Congress President Yadav said Banerjee will come several other days.
Banerjee has started from home by plans to visit Amta, Udaynarayanpur and Khanakul via road, but must stop in the middle of the road because the road to Udayarayanpur is under water.
CM then spoke to the villagers in Amta in the middle of the deep water.
