MEERUT: Hours after begging for his supporters and Western Khaps on Sunday to “ensure victory for the SP-RLD alliance in this test time”, Head BKU Naresh Tikait pulled his statement on Monday and said he made “error”.
Overnight changes in position with Tikait came, according to the source, after Sanyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) intervened to say the farmer group should be seen as “political neutral”.
Immediately after dramatic retraction, MP BJP from Muzaffarnagar Sanjeev Balyan met Tikait at BKU headquarters in the remainder, triggering political speculation.
“BJP candidate is not an enemy.
Anyone can come to look for thanks to Baba Tikait,” said Tikait.
This was Balyan’s first visit to the remainder after the War of words broke out between the two during the peak of anti-agricultural law after the BJP leaders faced the anger of people in many Western villages.
“No one (politicians) have approached us.
Only these alliances (SP-RLD) came to us, and they gathered at Kisan Bhawan.
So I asked people to care for them,” said Tikait, “Humit,” Humit ) Bol Pade Faltu (I speak without need).
“Titika said he could not fight the decision of Sanyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM), body umbrella 40 farmer organizations.” We cannot walk alone, or SKM will remove us from the organization, “said Tikait.” No one had to come here (headquarters BKU) To find a sound.
“Toi in the January 17 edition has reported that the Head of Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) – who is also the Head of Baliyan Khap – has asked people to ensure” massive “support for” Gathbandhan “(SP-RLD Combine) .
