Hyderabad: Ending speculation about the start of physical class, Telangana Education Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy announced that only online instructions to be held from grade 1 to graduate from July 1.
The decision came after the High Court questioned the logic of the opening of educational institutions in the background Covid-19 situation applies.
The school also asked the government to rethink on all problems.
The minister said that the decision to start an online class was taken because the situation was not profitable to do physical classes in a pandemic situation.
While private institutions can start online classes for all classes from July 1, the state government will conduct online / digital classes only for students from grade 3 to PG.
For grade 1 and 2 students, the government school will begin teaching in August.
“To ensure that students do not lose the academic year, we have decided to start an online or digital class according to the direction of the ministerial head,” said Sabitha Reddy, added that the state wants students to access digital classes through smartphones and television.
, “If there are students who do not have access to TV or smartphones, they must use available at the Library Office or Gram Panchayat to attend a digital class,” he added.
In the third week of June, the Telangana government announced that the physical class for all students will begin from July 1.
Actually, Telangana is the first country to announce the start of the physical class.
However, parents opposed the country’s decision and said that they were not ready to send their children to schools during the current situation, especially because experts predict that the third wave of the most affected children.
On Monday, after the announcement by the Minister of Education, the government’s order was also issued to open all educational institutions and training institutions in online mode.
The Minister added that if, for reasons why students cannot attend the lessons delivered through the TSAT or Doordarshan channel, the same thing will be available in the TSAT application and students can attend them at their convenience.
He also asked students to access the worksheets placed on the SCERTER website.
He said that around 75,000 groups of WhatsApp had been made for students and teachers to clear doubts and share information.
The Minister also explained that only 50% of staff, both teaching and non-teaching, must attend school and college every day.
He asked the University to prepare an action plan for the behavior of degree, techniques, postgraduate, examination of the final semester of the diploma in July.
The Telangana School Education Department on Monday released the government’s order asking for school not to increase any cost for the academic year 2021-22 and only charges of tuition on a monthly basis.
Orders will apply to all schools affiliated with the country, CBSE, ICSE or other international boards.
“The non-compliance of the above instructions will result in the cancellation of school recognition, revoking there is no objection certificate that has been given for affiliates to another board and initiation of appropriate action against school management with relevant actions / rules,” read orders released by Sandeep Kumar Sultania, Secretary, Ministry of Education.
