Coimbatore: Environmental lovers in Tirupur have written to Minister M K Stalin shows that some smaller water bodies are abandoned from Avinashi-Athikadavu multi-crore ground water infiltration and drinking water schemes and urging them to include them in the project.
Avinashi Federation – Athikadavu Scheme Struggle Committee, in a letter to Stalin, shows that including the Left Water Agency in the RS 1,600 Crore project will ensure the availability of water throughout the year throughout the region and refill groundwater as well.
Some pools in the perundhurai to Annur are not included in the Ambit Project, said the Federation Coordinator M S Sampath Kumar.
