Kanpur: Adhivakta Kalyan Sangharsh Samiti has urged political parties to enter their retirement requests for advocates in their election manifesto.
Samiti Confuditation Ravindra Sharma said that the advocates had led freedom of fighting from the front and they released their responsibilities to the country.
Although some political parties have made several attempts to provide social security to supporters but it is not enough.
Pension to senior advocate will provide some social security, he said he suggested that advocates that have reached the age of 65 and have been practicing for 35 years must be made beneficiaries from the pension scheme proposed in the condition that after retirement he will get Rs 10,000 per month As a pension.Similarly, young advocates who entered the legal profession were given pocket money of 10,000 per month for the first five years until he reached the age of 30 so he could use money in buying legal books and journals and also get some financial security, said Sharma.
Advocates also had to get health protection insurance from Rs 5 Lakh, he added.
The Sangharsh Samiti held a meeting almost on Friday which was attended by senior advocates.
