Coimbatore: Directorate of Precautions and Anti-Corruption (DVAC), Detachment Coimbatore, has registered a case against the Assistant Officer of Revenue and Former Gathering Bill Corporation to deceive 7.57,430 lakh.r Yuvaraj, 40, an employee, who holds additional responsibilities as a collector of the bill Eastern Zone, and R Sathya Prabha, 55, Assistant Revenue Officers in the South Zone, were ordered below 60 B 60 B, 167, 465, 468, 471, 477 (a), 409 KUDUd and Kudu India Pala 13 (2) Read with 13 ( 1) (a) Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.
As per FIR registered on January 7, Yuvaraj was a record officer and collector Bill from February 61 from February 24, 2019 to 27 August 2020, and Ward 64 from October 24, 2018 to August 27, 2010.
Sathya Prabha is an assistant income officer from the East Zone from 12 July 2019 to 6 October 2020.
“New building owners must submit applications to the corporation to set taxes to buildings.
The assistant income officer receives AP Likasi, enter the details in the register and send to the collector of the bill concerned to measure the default area.
If the measurement exceeds the approved plan, it will be considered a deviation and collector of the bill will set a cost on the deviation.
Building owners will pay fees at the zonal office.
Yuvaraj conspired with Sathya Prabha and prepared a fake challan and fake corporate seals and collected money from building owners.
They also issued cash receipts with fake signatures, “DVAC officers told Tii.a detailed investigations.
