Gurgaon: Commissioner MCG Mukesh Kumar Ahuja on Friday expressed displeasure of property tax collection in current fiscal and the performance of tax department officials.
In a meeting held by the Zonal Tax Department and Branch Enforcement officials on Friday, the Commissioner directed the Taxation Zone officer to improve their performance and recovery on September 15 or the action would be taken against them in accordance with the provisions.
The Commissioner found that the application for the property ID was submitted on August 12 and since then the file has passed from one officer to another.
