Increase public expenses for health needs at the clock: Venkaiiah Naidu

New Delhi: Venkaiiah Naidu vice-president emphasized the need for increasing public expenditure on state health infrastructure on Saturday and said adequate medical facilities must be provided in rural areas to attract more doctors.
Naidu made a statement while handling the convocation ceremony from the University College of Medical Sciences.
“The purpose of universal and convincing health is all difficult, but with the determined effort, we can achieve it and the first step to achieving the ‘health for all’ goals is to increase public expenditure for health,” he said.
Emphasizing the need to attract more doctors to rural areas, Naidu said the sophisticated hospital must be established and good incentives and housing facilities must be given to the medical community.
The Vice President saluted the frontline workers for their contribution in the war against the Coronavirus pandemic.
