Jaipur: New Zealand Pacer Kyle Jamieson has decided to pass three international T20 against India to focus on the upcoming rubber test, the first series of the New World Test Championship cycle.
Jamieson will thus join his captain Kane Williamson, who also decided to miss the T20i to prepare for the two-match test series, starting November 25.
“We decided to talk to Kane and Kyle that they would not play at T20.
Series,” Coach Gary Stead was quoted by Stuff.co.nz.
“They both will get ready for a test match and I think you will find someone else involved in a test match that won’t play the whole series.” It’s a bit of a balancing action at the moment and with three T20 matches in five days plus traveling to three different cities this is a very, very busy time.
