Colombo: Indian Wicketkeeper-Batsman Sanju Samson can be ruled out of the white ball series against Sri Lanka after he suffered a knee arm injury during the training session, making him not available for the first odi here on Sunday.
Ishan Kiswan made his ODI debut while injury Samson was being monitored by the medical team.
“Sanju Samson glances at the ligament in his knees and is therefore not available for the selection for this game.
The medical team tracks its current progress,” said the BCCI media team.
The Sri Lankan series consists of three ODI and T20 internationally.
The Indian team was led by Shikhar Dhawan with Rahul Dravid as the head of the coach.
