Jaipur: The turmeric flag on the Amagarh fortress in Jaipur has been torn down by a group of people before MLA Ramkesh Meena who is independent on Thursday, inviting sharp reactions from BJP and people on social media.
The locals filed firmly against unknown people in the Transport Police Nagar then on Thursday midnight.

A Meena community organization also submitted a case against an unknown person for inciting religious sentiments.
The group led by MLA claims that the fort belongs to the god of Meena and RSS planting flags to injure community religious codes.
The Meena community in the state identifies themselves as tribes with separate religious codes.
An incident video will be viral and has triggered a blast on social media with #restrameshmeena trend since Friday morning.
“The fort is the Meena community historic monument.
Some anti-social elements try to overcome the history of the Meena community that cannot be accepted by the locals,” Meena said.
The fort has a temple that is respected by the Meena community and is managed by the Archaeological Department and Museum.
Immediately after the incident, the video went viral leading to the assembly of people outside the transportation of the Nagar police station holding the Safron singing flag song and demanding MLA Meena’s arrest.
ACP (Adarsh Nagar), Neel Kamal said Mla Meena also filed FIR registered in the same part of the 295 IPC.
He said that the situation was peaceful and cross complaints were being investigated.
Reacting to the incident, Opposition leader Kulab Chand Kataria said that the way in which the MLA LED Hooligan was unacceptable.
“Inappropriate for selected representatives to behave in a difficult way.
If there is a dispute between the two parties, MLA should take a legal route.
By tearing it is similar to the provocation,” Kataria said.
