India 3 in data violations until November

Bengaluru: India has entered third place, after the US and Iran, in the number of data violations detected globally in the first 11 months of this calendar year.
Indians face a total of 86.6 million data violations, according to a study by VPN Services Company Surfshark.
The affected account shows an increase of 356% from last year’s 19 million.
The top five countries with the number of largest data violations (US, Iran, India, Russia and France) explained more than half of all this year’s leakage.
In the first 11 months of this year, 953 million accounts were violated, meaning 1 of every 5 people were globally affected.
It was slightly higher than 922 million violations recorded during the same period the previous year with a growth of 3.4%, or 31 million, year-to-year.
Some of the biggest data violations this year include combs, clubhouses, Facebook and Raychat.
The report suggested that more than 150 million Iran accounts were compromised for 2021 raychat.io.
The violation encouraged Iran to second place because the Raychat application was one of the most popular message delivery platforms in the country.
Computer Bleeping has reported that Domino’s India reveals data violations after the actor threats to hack the system and try to sell stolen data on the hacking forum.
It was said in April that the threat actor created a new topic on a hacking forum, claiming to have 13TB data stolen for sale, including details for 18 crores (180 million) orders and 1 million credit cards from India Domino.
Earlier this year, Sita, who provided it and telecommunications services to the air transportation industry, warned Air India which last suffered from cyberattack.
It is related to potential data violations related to the Sita system that contains credit card data, ticket data, data integrity of income and data frequent flyers that are processed by Sita on the name of Air India.
